Where are you located?
I’m in Waxhaw, North Carolina at my private tattoo studio. I do not travel or do guest spots at this time.
How do I make an appointment?
First we need a consultation! This helps us touch base on what you’re looking to get tattooed, where we’d put the tattoo, approximate size, budget, etc. Start by filling out a request form on this website. The next step would be setting up a deposit and getting you in the books!
What’s a deposit and why do I need it?
Depending on our appointment length, there is a required non refundable $40 or $100 deposit via cash, PayPal, or Venmo; and that comes off the tattoo total, so nothing extra! (*PayPal fees apply*) Your deposit secures our appointment date and time, as well as gets the drawing process started. Per shop rule, deposits are forfeited if: You cancel or change your appointment less than 48 hours in advance, you arrive more than 30 minutes late to your appointment without warning, or if you need to reschedule more than one time.
What does your schedule look like/ how far out are you booking?
I am independent now and will be able to provide dates and times that work for both of us. I might have some time in the current month, or you can schedule several months in advance as well. Soon I will have a way to book times directly over the web!
How much is a tattoo from you? How do you price our work?
I price by piece (opposed to charging by the hour), so my prices are based on size, detail, and amount of color/shading. If you are able to give me reference photos and/or an idea for the size, I can give you a ballpark estimate for the range we may be working within. If you have specific budget limitations, include that in your form and I can do my best to design within that range 🙂
What should I do to be comfortable? Can I bring a friend?
My studio has room for a friend or two! Eating beforehand is very important and we have water and candy at the shop if you need it. Comfortable clothes, headphones, stress toys, are encouraged and welcome.
What is your aftercare process?
Unless you have specific allergies, I wrap my tattoos in Saniderm. Saniderm is a second skin wrap that protects the area for the first three to four days after your tattoo. Saniderm helps keep the tattoo sterilized and moisturized for the first phase of healing. I also provide a free aftercare packet with instructions and Lubriderm lotion.
Are you okay with numbing?
If you’d like to use numbing cream before the tattoo, I recommend covering the area in Ebanel Liposomal Numb520 and putting some sort of plastic wrapping over the area for at least an hour. Plastic wrap or even a grocery bag is fine for this. During the appointment, I can’t use numbing spray until we have completed the linework, but I always I give a numbing break before shading and color.
I sent you a DM on Instagram! Will I hear back from you?
While I try to reply to every message, I am tattooing during the day, so I may not get back to you immediately if you have questions. Sending a Tattoo Request Form is the best way to contact me! I no longer do consultations via Instagram, as Instagram messaging is primarily for me to touch base with you during the design process. If you have previously messaged me and I have not gotten back to you, please fill out a Tattoo Request Form!
Will you draw a tattoo for me?
While I do love hearing all of your ideas, I do not send out drawings until a deposit has been made with the intention of scheduling an appointment in the near future. That being said, if you’re looking to get on the books, all of my tattoos are custom drawn for you and only you!
Do you have any limitations?
I’ve been tattooing the public since June of 2021. To ensure that you get the best tattoo possible, I do not currently accept work on the face, neck, sternum/underboob, rib cage, or stomach. I am fully licensed in the state or North Carolina.
Coming from out of town?
Please include what dates you are in the area in your request form, so I can quickly check if I can get you taken care of within that time frame.
